Bennett ,the founder and director of the Intercultural Development Research Institute (IDRInstitute) about intercultural communication. Dr. Bennett is known for originating the Developmental Model of Intercultural Sensitivity and co-developing two popular measures of it, the Intercultural Development Inventory and the Intercultural Viability Indicator.
