Dr. Edward Dunbar
Dr. Edward Dunbar is a practicing psychologist, clinical professor at the University of California Los Angeles, an American Psychological Association Fellow and member of California State Psychological Association. He is most recently the author of The Psychology of Authoritarian Leaders (Springer, 2024). Among numerous other publications, he authored Hate Unleashed: America’s Cataclysmic Change (Praeger, 2017), edited Indoctrination to Hate: Recruitment of Hate Groups and How to Stop Them (Praeger, 2022), and co-edited The Psychology of Hate Crimes as Domestic Terrorism: US and Global Issues (Three Volumes, Praeger 2016).
Dr. Milton J.. Bennett
Dr. Milton J. Bennett directs the Intercultural Development Research Institute, co-located near Seattle, USA and Milan, Italy, teaches intercultural communication at the University of Milano Bicocca, and consults widely. He originated the Developmental Model of Intercultural Sensitivity, authored the text Basic Concepts of Intercultural Communication: Paradigms, Principles, & Practices (Intercultural Press, 2013), and more recently has written on the topics of self-reflexive consciousness (“An Epistemology of Hate” for Hate Crimes as Domestic Terrorism) and culting (“Group Indoctrination: Techniques of Depersonalization and Domination of Individual Consciousness” for Indoctrination to Hate).
